Hanna and Rob had an amazing wedding - the weather had been horrendous all week, so we were keeping our fingers crossed for the big day, especially as they had a marquee in Hanna's parents' garden in Warsash. We managed to escape the worst of the rain in the day and worked the photos around the dry gaps in the weather! Despite this, everyone was in very high spirits and had a fabulous day. I was welcomed as one of the family and was even given my own place at a table in the marquee and fed the full three course meal and delicious it was too! Rob's family are Scottish, so there were kilts and pipers - the works, which was so much fun. Thank you to Hanna and Rob and family for making me feel at home.
Isn't Hanna beautiful? She was worried about having her photo taken, but as you can see she really needn't - she's stunning!
Hanna got a card from her sister wishing her luck on her big day - they are great sisters, very close!
One of Hanna's friends used to work in a bridal shop, so she popped in to do up "the dress" - she was a pro! Wish I could take her to every wedding (actually, wish I had her at my wedding!)
The moment Hanna's dad saw her for the first time in her dress. They have a great relationship and he was so proud!
At the alter they were the smiliest (is that a word?) couples I've ever seen - so happy and giggly - adorable!
I love the way Rob is looking at Hanna here - so much love!

Lisa and Jamie's Wedding
Lisa and Jamie's wedding was my first wedding of the year, and despite it being a chilly February Friday, everyone was warm and friendly and they had a fab day! The ceremony was at Southampton Registry Office and then the reception was at the lovely White Star Tavern in Southampton - a great place for a wedding. Many thanks to Antony the manager for all his help. Although it was cold, we walked between the venues, which allowed me to get some shots of the newlyweds around the beautiful old Southampton walls.

Featured: Your Hampshire Wedding Magazine
Sarah and Jonathan are such a great couple and photographing their wedding at Westover Hall Hotel was so much fun! It's couples like them, that make me love my job! We had a ball on their big day last year. Westover is a fab venue in the best location - Milford on Sea! The staff there are so friendly too!
Local glossy wedding magazine "Your Hampshire Wedding" asked me to send them the photographs from their big day and here's the article! Not only did they give us a 4 page spread, but they even put a photo of Sarah on the front cover! Thanks Your Hampshire Wedding! Out now in the shops.
Sarah's bit about me in the interview in the magazine reads as follows (see I told you she was nice!):
"We met several photographers before choosing Carrie to take our wedding photographs. We chose her because of her relaxed, friendly and professional manner and obvious creative talent. We were absolutely thrilled with the photos she took on the day."
